Our Research Group aims to develop intelligent drug carriers, theranostic platforms and robotic nanodevices empowered by nanobiotechnology, capable of dealing with the complex and dynamic biological microenvironment and acting with high safety, reliability, and efficacy in vivo. By exploiting the immense design and multifunctional flexibility of nanomaterials, we aspire to precisely manipulate biological processes on molecular, cellular and whole-body levels, paving the way for new therapies against diseases ranging from cancer and cardiovascular problems to immune disorders. The ultimate goal of our research is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge nanotechnology and unmet clinical needs.
